NEW YORK, LONDON, PARIS – September 11, 2026 — AMC Global Media today announced the greenlight of a new original series for AMC and AMC+, Point Break, with Alcon Television Group serving as lead studio and AMC Studios and STUDIOCANAL (a CANAL+ company) as co-producers. Commissioned by CANAL+ for its global footprint spanning more than 50 countries across France, Europe, Africa and Asia, the series is set in the present day, after the events of the iconic film, and centered on a new heist crew with ties to the notorious Ex-Presidents gang. STUDIOCANAL will handle international sales and worldwide distribution outside of the U.S. and Canada. The first season of eight episodes will go into production early next year.

Dave Kalstein (Treadstone, Quantico, NCIS: Los Angeles) and Christopher C. Rogers (Halt and Catch Fire, Sugar) serve as co-showrunners and Executive Producers. Alcon co-founders and co-CEOs Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson will also Executive Produce, alongside Alcon Television Group head of television Ben Roberts and Julia Cohen. M-K Kennedy, Paul Gilbert and Daniel Gratton are overseeing the project for STUDIOCANAL. Steven Johnson, Diego Piasek, and Gene Hong will serve as Co-Executive Producers, with Emily Yoshida and Ben Cook as Supervising Producers.

More than three decades after the events of the original Point Break film, a new heist crew inspired by the Ex-Presidents has emerged and the FBI must rely on a mysterious ex-pro surfer with a checkered past to infiltrate them.

Point Break joins other new series and seasons planned for AMC and AMC+ in 2027 and beyond including Thunder Road, a multi-generational racing drama produced in partnership with NASCAR and starring Dennis Quaid, the final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, new seasons of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches and the acclaimed Silicon Valley drama The Audacity, a new season in the company’s Rise Of sports docuseries franchise, Rise of the Saints and the recently greenlit spy drama Bannerman, produced in partnership with Netflix.

NEW YORK, NY – September 10, 2026 – Acorn TV, AMC Global Media’s popular streamer specializing in crime dramas and murder mysteries, today unveiled the official trailer and key art for the acclaimed third season of Signora Volpe, premiering Monday, October 5^th, exclusively on Acorn TV.

Returning with three new, 90-minute episodes, the third season finds former British spy Sylvia Fox (Emilia Fox, Silent Witness), now mentally and physically recovered from her abduction at the end of season two. While lingering questions about her ordeal remain, she is settling back into the rhythm of her new life in Italy and her relationship with Carabinieri captain Giovanni Riva(Giovanni Cirfiera, Ford v Ferrari) continues to deepen. However, she is soon drawn back into danger through a series of complex investigations, including the murder of a local winery owner and the mysterious death of a young man found in the bed of a prominent power couple. As each mystery hits closer to home and forces Sylvia to confront uncomfortable truths, a devastating loss and the return of someone from her past come back to haunt her.

Jackie Price (Zeta-Jones) has been living a luxurious existence for the last twenty years – travelling the world, selling fine art and, above all, trying to stay anonymous after escaping a dangerous past as an international drug smuggler. New York, NY – August 27, 2026 – Today, All Reality and We TV unveiled the trailer and key art for the highly anticipated new original unscripted series, Love After Lockup: Relationship Rehab. The nine-episode series gathers five fan-favorite couples from the Love After Lockup franchise as they embark on a transformative journey with psychiatrist and nationally recognized relationship expert Dr. Ish Major, working to heal old wounds and rebuild their relationships. The series premieres Friday, October 2, streaming exclusively on All Reality and airing new episodes weekly at 9 PM ET/PT on We TV.

Throughout the series, the couples will confront the unresolved hurt and ongoing pressures that have shaped their relationships as they participate in a program designed by Dr. Ish specifically for this group. Guided through difficult conversations and emotional breakthroughs, they will be forced to examine what keeps them together, what stands between them and whether their relationships can survive the process. As buried secrets and painful truths emerge, tensions will rise and all five relationships will be pushed to their limits. In the end, Dr. Ish will help them determine whether these relationships can be repaired or if some may be beyond saving.

Brittany & Marcelino – Current Relationship Status: Separated

Through their time on Love After Lockup and Life After Lockup, Marcelino fell for Brittany during her incarceration and after Brittany’s release, the couple eventually got married and welcomed two children together. Their relationship was tested over time by deep-seated issues including distrust and accusations of infidelity, ultimately leading to their separation. Despite the split, Brittany and Marcelino share custody of their children and remain legally married, both claiming the other is dragging their feet on finalizing the divorce. Brittany and Marcelino are setting out to rebuild a healthier co-parenting dynamic, no longer driven by old wounds and unresolved resentment. As they unpack their past, they’re forced to face a tougher question: beneath the hurt, the history and the distance, is there any romance left between them worth fighting for, or will this process give them the clarity to let go and close the chapter for good?

Melissa & Louie – Current Relationship Status: Engaged

Melissa has had her eye on Louie since high school, reconnecting with him years later while Louie was incarcerated. Now, they’re engaged and planning a wedding. Melissa is convinced marriage will finally fix the issues they’ve been sweeping under the rug. Neither Melissa nor Louie has been married before and now Louie is getting cold feet, questioning whether he is truly ready to commit. Between Melissa’s exhaustion with Louie’s constant career changes and Louie feeling that Melissa doesn’t truly grasp how hard it is for a justice-impacted person to succeed in the real world, their frustrations continue to grow. With Dr. Ish’s guidance, can Melissa and Louie work through their issues in time to make it down the aisle or will their unresolved problems derail the wedding altogether?

Alexis & Julius – Current Relationship Status: Dating

Shortly after their time on Love After Lockup, Alexis and Julius welcomed their daughter Julianna. This life-changing event, however, did not change the problems they were having in their relationship—Julius is still sneaky and Alexis still doesn’t trust him. Their relationship is a nonstop cycle of on-again, off-again chaos fueled by accusations and insecurities. Alexis wants to get married and see that Julius is 100% committed to their family, while Julius wants respect and trust. Neither feels like they are getting what they need and the drama is currently outweighing their devotion to each other. Will Relationship Rehab finally give them the tools to choose each other, or will it prove they’re better off choosing themselves?

Justine & Michael – Current Relationship Status: Married

Justine and Michael are building a life together in Las Vegas, but this life gets complicated by blending families, starkly different parenting styles and unresolved trauma. When tensions rise, Justine claims Michael slips back into “incarceration mode,” leading Justine to do whatever it takes to give in so they can move on. Justine wants therapy with Michael for healthier communication and to avoid repeating past mistakes, but Michael is very resistant to the idea since so many clients from his drug-dealing days were therapists. They love each other, but the power struggles and emotional walls are tearing them apart. Will they both be willing to give therapy the chance to save their marriage?

Kimberly & Joey – Current Relationship Status: Married

After meeting at a young age living in the same small town, Kimberly always carried a torch for Joey and reconnected with him during his incarceration, after she separated from her children’s father. Once Joey was released, they wasted no time tying the knot, but their married life has been far from easy. Joey’s sobriety is a constant concern as a recovering addict, with Kimberly keeping a close watch and administering random drug tests to make sure he’s staying clean. Between trust issues, financial stress and Joey’s re-arrest, the problems are piling up for the couple to face their biggest challenge yet.

The Deeply Personal, Hand Drawn Feature will release in select theaters for a qualifying run in 2026, followed by a theatrical expansion in early 2027

NEW YORK – August 27, 2026 – Independent Film Company and Sapan Studio announced today that they have acquired North American rights to TANGLES, the critically acclaimed hand-drawn animated feature from first-time filmmaker Leah Nelson, ahead of its North American Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it will screen as part of the festival’s Centerpiece program.

Adapted by Nelson, Trev Renney and Sarah Leavitt from Leavitt’s widely praised graphic memoir, Tangles: A Story About Alzheimer’s, My Mother and Me, the film made its World Premiere as an Official Selection Special Screening at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Independent Film Company will release the film in select theaters for a qualifying run in 2026, followed by a wider theatrical expansion in early 2027.

Featuring an extraordinary ensemble voice cast led by Abbi Jacobson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Beanie Feldstein, Seth Rogen and Samira Wiley, TANGLES is a deeply personal, poignant and unexpectedly funny portrait of a family navigating profound change. Through expressive, predominantly black-and-white animation, the film explores the realities of Alzheimer’s while capturing something far larger and more universal: the complicated bonds between parents and children, the identities we build away from home, and the love, humor and resilience that can endure even as memory begins to disappear.

The film also features the voices of Pamela Adlon, Sarah Silverman, Bowen Yang, Wanda Sykes, Phil Rosenthal, Adam Shapiro, Pat Finn and Sugar Lyn Beard.

A riveting first-look teaser was also released. Hosted by Professor Jeffrey J. Kripal, one of the leading scholars of extraordinary human experiences, Archive X: Unexplained Phenomena builds upon Rice University’s Center for the Impossible, one of the world’s largest collections of paranormal research, by inviting everyday individuals, many of whom have never spoken publicly before, to reveal their new and personal encounters with unexplained phenomena.
