NEW YORK- July 14, 2026- AMC Global Media today announced that The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only LIVE, the standing-room-only performance celebrating AMC’s premiere of its newly-released The Vampire Lestat at New York City’s iconic Beacon Theatre last month, will make its streaming debut on AMC+ on Sunday, August 23. Additionally, highlights from the electrifying premiere event, featuring original songs from series composer Daniel Hart and performed by Sam Reid, will be screened for fans in Hall H at Comic Con International on Friday, July 24.
Following the screening, cast and executive producers from The Vampire Lestat will take the Hall H stage for the first time to reflect on the series’ jaw-dropping season finale, premiering Sunday, July 19 on AMC and AMC+.

NEW YORK – July 12, 2026 – AMC Global Media debuted an all-new teaser for season three of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches during tonight’s penultimate episode of The Vampire Lestat. Starring Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa and Alyssa Jirrels, as well as Betsy Brandt, Michiel Huisman, James Frain, Eliza Scanlen and Omar Maskati, the highly anticipated new season is set to premiere in 2027 on AMC and AMC+.

As previously announced on 3 June 2026, AMC Global Media – UK revealed plans to launch a dedicated UK FAST channel for The Walking Dead Universe. ITVX is the first platform confirmed as part of that rollout.
The free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel will offer a live, continuous stream of series from one of television’s most iconic franchises, allowing audiences to watch without a subscription through a simple, lean-back viewing experience.

Chief Director Takashi Naoya
This was my first time participating in a project in the capacity of Chief Director, so while respecting the authority of the director, I took on responsibilities where I could best contribute—namely series composition, scriptwriting, and storyboarding.
In terms of series composition, I focused our script discussions on how to best convey the appeal of this work within the span of a single cour.
I would also like to thank Ms. Yoshimura, who warmly supported us throughout the script meetings and provided many invaluable insights.
My favorite characters are Manjūbito and Hinako. I’m also very fond of Urara and Momoyama.
But… in the end, Kuroko really is the best—she’s cool, charmingly mischievous, and even a great cook. She’s wonderful! ♡
Director Matsuo Asami
I’m Matsuo Asami, the director, and I’m primarily responsible for overseeing the production on site.
We are currently right in the middle of voice recording, and the performances of Kuroko and Hinako are so engaging that they often surpass what we had envisioned in the visuals. Every time, I find myself inspired by their acting and incorporating that energy back into the animation.
On the visual side, with the support of our many talented animators, we are striving to capture the stylish crime-action spirit of the original work, while pushing the erotic and grotesque elements right up to the limits of broadcast standards.
We are also putting a great deal of effort into the car action sequences. With the cooperation of Satelight’s CG department, we are aiming to deliver some truly cool 3D action scenes.
Everyone on the team is working hard every day so that we can show you Kuroko and Hinako in motion as soon as possible. Please look forward to it and bear with us just a little longer.

AMC Global Media’s popular streaming service revealed today this year’s “Summer of Dubs” ahead of its anime showcase at this weekend’s Anime Expo 2026. Every week and all summer long, HIDIVE will drop brand new English dub episodes from its exciting line-up of fan favorites, hit franchises and highly-anticipated debuts, including both new Summer 2026 and recent Spring 2026 simulcasts exclusively available on the streaming service. HIDIVE’s “Summer of Dubs” offers something for every fan and spans a wide range of its most popular genres, from isekai, rom-com and fantasy to slice-of-life, action and drama. The 2026 edition of HIDIVE’s “Summer of Dubs” just kicked off with the hilarious rom-com and spring simulcast series Yowayowa Sensei. Following Yowayowa Sensei, the “Summer of Dubs” continues with the franchise theatrical release The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie on July 14, followed by English dubs of HIDIVE’s entire Summer 2026 Simulcast Season line-up, starting first with the 2nd Season of the hit isekai action series HELL MODE: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing on August 5 and then finishing off with two of this year’s highly anticipated new series, the gourmet slow-life isekai The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Road Trip in Another World and the historical period drama The World Is Dancing, later in August.

HOUSTON, TX — June 30, 2026 — Action and adventure awaits for fans next year with today’s news that AMC Global Media’s HIDIVE will present the highly-anticipated new dark fantasy BLADE & BASTARD as part of the fast-growing anime service’s 2027 line-up. BLADE & BASTARD is adapted fromCreator Kumo Kagyu’s popular light novel series, which itself is based on Wizardry, the legendary hit video game franchise that helped shape the video game industry’s evolution and gave birth to modern day role-playing video games. Set to premiere during 2027, BLADE & BASTARD will stream exclusively on HIDIVE and be available to subscribers throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as in key overseas markets including U.K., Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Today’s announcement coincides with the global release of the English subtitled version of the series’ new teaser trailer which can be viewed HIDIVE’s YouTube channel here.

Deep in the unexplored reaches of the dungeon, the corpse of a man named Iarumas is discovered. Once resurrected, Iarumas loses all memories of his life before death and must now spend his days delving into the dungeon, collecting a finder’s fee for retrieving the bodies of dead adventurers. His skills quickly earn him some grudging respect even as he is scorned for his cold, utilitarian attitude. Because the living keep their distance from him, Iarumas is left to consort primarily with the dead. That is, until he meets Garbage, a feral young swordswoman and sole survivor of a massacred party. With Garbage by his side, Iarumas decides to venture deeper, scouring the dungeon for clues to his past while simultaneously avoiding monsters, traps, and the inevitability of a permanent ashen demise by God’s hand.
BLADE & BASTARD is adapted from the now six-volume light novel series written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by so-bin, which launched in December 2022 under Drecom Media’s DRE Novel and is based on the Wizardry role-playing video games franchise published by Drecom Co., Ltd. The English language version of the light novels is available in both print and digital formats from Yen Press and J Novel Club, respectively. In June 2023, a subsequent manga series debuted on Drecom Media’s DRE Comics website and currently spans eight volumes, with the English language version of the manga available in both print and digital formats from Yen Press.
The new series is directed by Tomoki Kobayashi along with series composition by Naruhisa Arakawa, character design by Rina Iwamoto together with monster design cooperation from Jun Suemi, sound direction by Kisuke Koizumi, music by Hayato Matsuo and animation by xingfu. The cast of BLADE & BASTARD stars Makoto Furukawa as Iarumas, Tomori Kusunoki as Garbage, Daiki Yamashita as Raraja, Saori Hayami as Ainikki and Shion Wakayama as Berkanan.
Of special note, two separate panels at the L.A. Convention Center during this weekend’s Anime Expo 2026 will feature BLADE & BASTARD. NEW YORK – June 18, 2026 – AMC Global Media today announced that production of the much anticipated eight-episode second season of The Audacity is underway in Vancouver, Canada, with the series returning to AMC and AMC+ in 2027. The satirical drama from Emmy® Award-winner Jonathan Glatzer (Succession, Bad Sisters, Better Call Saul) stars a powerhouse ensemble: Billy Magnussen, Sarah Goldberg, Zach Galifianakis, Lucy Punch, Simon Helberg, Meaghan Rath, Paul Adelstein, Everett Blunck, Thailey Roberge and Ava Marie Telek.
