NEW YORK – October 6, 2026 – A quarter of a century after it changed TV forever, Blue Planet III, the highly anticipated return of BBC Studios Natural History Unit’s landmark ocean series narrated by renowned naturalist and three-time Emmy® Award-winner Sir David Attenborough (Mammals, Planet Earth III) is set to premiere on BBC AMERICA and AMC+ in 2027. Today, BBC AMERICA and BBC Studios Natural History Unit debuted the global extended trailer for the new series, accompanied by Into The Deep (Seas Cry), a new, original song created exclusively for the launch of Blue Planet III, and written by BRIT Award winning and Mercury Prize-nominated singer-songwriter JADE, multiple Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer, and Thom Lukas of the Emmy and BAFTA-winning Bleeding Fingers Music team.
As part of a global premiere in London, Sir David, in his 100th year, shared a specially recorded message with guests, reflecting on his long association with the Blue Planet series and the discoveries revealed in this latest chapter.

New Comedy Series Starring Charlie and Martin Sheen, Playing A Father-and-Son Duo, To Premiere On AMC And AMC+ In 2027
NEW YORK, NY, September 29, 2026 – AMC Global Media today announced the greenlight of a new original series for AMC and AMC+, Happy Jack. The half-hour family comedy from AMC Studios stars Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen as a father and son. The series will start production in Los Angeles early next year on a six-episode first season and premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2027.
The creative team behind the show includes writers, executive producers and co-showrunners Jim Patterson and Matt Ross, who previously worked together on Two and a Half Men and The Ranch. Charlie Sheen, who plays Jack Chambers, is also an executive producer, as are Todd Christopher, The Tannenbaum Company (Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum and Jason Wang) and 20th Television.
Happy Jack is a contemporary family comedy featuring one of America’s favorite comedic actors. Charlie Sheen plays Jack, a bit of a lifelong ne’er-do-well. He’s got two great daughters (though his Dad, played by Martin Sheen, deserves more credit for how they turned out). Kate runs Jack’s company and keeps him on the rails while Sam is a wild child who is more like her Dad. When Sam comes home to introduce everyone to her new boyfriend, Jack’s shocked to learn Paul, a former investment banker turned van life guru, is the same age as he is. Shocked at first (hypocrisy be damned), Jack soon realizes he’s got a choice to make. Will he keep looking out for number one, or embrace this last chance to be a real part of his daughters’ lives?

Premiering on AMC and AMC+ in 2027, Hollander will portray “Big Tim,” the mythical Cupertino executive referenced throughout the first season. NEW YORK – September 25, 2026 – Today, AMC+ released the spellbinding trailer for the highly anticipated eight-episode, half-hour drama, YAGA. The contemporary mystery thriller which reimagines the myth of Baba Yaga, is set for a two-episode premiere on Friday, October 23, exclusively in the U.S. on AMC+. New episodes will debut on Fridays, with an epic two-episode finale on Friday, November 27. YAGA is based on the hit play by Kat Sandler who also serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Rapp finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Backo); a charismatic university professor, Katherine (Moss) and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives and ancient magic. With presenting sponsor BACARDÍ Rum returning for a second year, the long-running annual horror and genre programming event, featuring over 650 hours of iconic horror films, franchises, new series, specials and more, kicks off Thursday, October 1 on AMC and AMC+.
Famed special effects master, AMC’s longtime creative partner and The Walking Dead director, Greg Nicotero (Creepshow, Guts & Glory) re-created the legendary puppet for a ghoulish refresh, leveraging his expertise in practical effects and creature design to update the Crypt Keeper’s signature look, movement and personality for today’s audiences. In collaboration with AMC Global Media’s Content Room, the company’s in-house branded entertainment studio, Nicotero direced the Crypt Keeper segments for “FearFest” with Kassir providing the signature cackle and wit that cemented the Crypt Keeper’s legacy.

Created by the lauded John Fusco (Young Guns, The Highwaymen) and led by showrunner and executive producer Taylor Elmore (Justified, Tulsa King), the scripted drama features an impressive ensemble cast with the award-winning Dennis Quaid at the helm.
